Frequently Asked Questions
1. How will you be different than your opponent?
Most importantly, I intend to actively listen to the people in the district and engage with them whenever I get a chance. My opponent rarely meets with her constituents. I will answer to the people and bring an increased level of transparency to government. I will make decisions based on thoughtful consideration rather than sensationalism and pandering. While I am a Democrat and have Democratic values, I will not simply vote along party lines without thinking. Of course, there are many other ways that I am different, and I hope you will contact me to learn more.
2. What kind of motorcycle do you have?
A BMW 1200RT, a Kawasaki ZX1200R, and a Suzuki V-Strom 1000.
3. How did you become a trumpet player?
I have always loved music and started playing trumpet when I was 8 years old. Today, I play trumpet in several jazz bands and in the orchestras of Biltmore Church and First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. I find that making music as part of worship is a profoundly meaningful experience, especially when I am playing with fellow musicians and the harmonies come together in an almost perfect way. Those are moments that uplift and inspire me in a way nothing else can. They help me stay clear-headed, focused and energized.
